The best leek, cabbage and minced meat oven dish

Hi,
This oven dish with leek, pointed cabbage, potatoes and minced meat is absolutely a winner ! Ingredients (serves 4)
- half a leek, sliced
- 400g pre-cooked potato slices
- 1 onion, chopped
- 2 cloves of garlic, chopped
- some butter
- 500g of minced meat
- half a pointed cabbage, sliced
- 3 tsp of curry powder
- 1 tsp of paprika powder
- some cayenne pepper
- 250 ml cream
- 50 ml milk
- 1 egg
- handfull of fresh celery
- olive oil
- 150g shredded cheese
- Melt some butter in a big skillet on medium high heat. Fry the onion and garlic for 2 minutes.
- Add the minced meat and cook a couple of minutes while stirring.
Add salt, pepper, cayenne pepper and paprika powder to taste and 2 tsp of curry powder.
- Add the finely sliced leek and pointed cabbage and cook a couple of minutes until it starts to shrink.
- Combine the cream, the milk, 1 egg, a handful of chopped fresh celery, salt & pepper to taste and 1 tsp of curry powder.
- Grease an oven dish with some olive oil.
- Start with 1 layer of potato slices.
Spoon 1/2 of the vegetable mixture on top of the potatoes.
Put a 2nd layer of potatoes on the vegetables.
Then the other half of the vegetable mixture and finally the last layer of potatoes.
- Pour the cream sauce over the dish and finish with the shredded cheese.
- Put in a pre-heated oven (175°C) for 30 minutes.
